Micah Turner
Bass
Young Artist Micah Turner made his debut with OperaCréole as Parson Alltalk in our 2017 production of Treemonisha.
While attending Xavier University of Louisiana as a Music Major vocal performance, he was a member of Concert Choir, University Chorus, Opera Workshop, the New Orleans Black Chorale and One Sound Music Organization. Since Xavier, he has performed with the New Orleans Black Chorale and New Orleans Philharmonic Orchestra twice in Mexico City, Mexico (Treemonisha and Porgy & Bess), "Blue Monday" with the Marigny Opera House.
He is now teaching music at ARISE ACADEMY as the marching band director and performing with his group Black Magic Music Group LLC.
