Taylor White
Soprano

Taylor J. White hails from Jackson, MS and is a graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music and received the St. Cecilia Music Award. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Vocal Performance at Loyola University New Orleans.
White began her music career in Jazz and Mississippi Blues, performing as a soloist at the New Orleans Jazz Festival in 2017 and 2020. She now specializes in Classical music and is a proud member of OperaCréole. In October 2021, White performed the world premier of To Meditate in His Temple, a song cycle by pianist and composer Dr. Maria Thompson Corley.
This summer, Taylor J. White will be traveling to Germany to study opera at the International Performing Arts Institute in Kiefersfelden, Germany.
